Holiday Checklist

If you're going away with your child for the first time, or packing up your family of 5 to go on your 10th annual holiday, it is always stressful and you always forget something important! We have tried our best over the years, trying to write lists, set email reminders, diary entries.. you name it- and yet we cannot seem to remember the toothbrushes! So here is a handy checklist of essentials, make sure you have these and then you can relax and enjoy the break..


Packing List: Money and Documents
  • cash
  • credit cards/ debit cards/ travellers cheques
  • passports
  • a photocopy of your passport, packed separately, in case of lose or theft
  • insurance documents
  • drivers' license if you'll be driving 
Trip Documents:
  • itinerary
  • airplane tickets/ e-ticket print off
  • car reservation number
  • hotel booking print off
  • directions to hotel
Packing List: Toiletries
  • tooth paste, toothbrushes
  • shampoo, conditioner, soap,shower gel
  • sunglasses
  • skin cream, makeup
  • nail clippers
  • tweezers
NB. Remember on planes amounts of liquids are restricted. There are exceptions for baby formula, baby food, medications, but check with airport before travelling and pack rest in hold luggage

  • Suncream
  • Aftersun
  • Plasters

  • Prescription medicines
  • Insect repellent
  • Insect bite gel/cream
Packing List: Baby On Board
  • Nappies- lots of spares in case of delay
  • Sudocrem

  • Plastic bags for dirty clother

  • pushchair
  • baby carriers
  • lots of spare outfits for baby & change of clothes for yourself, just in case of any mishaps!
  • formula & juice
  • bottles or cup
  • finger food snacks
  • dummies
  • bibs
  • muslins
  • baby food/ spoon/ bowl
  • TOYS!
Of course there are simply loads of other items needed for a holiday, obviously clothes and shoes are rather handy and mobile phone, digital camera & iPad are essentials for us. But hopefully with the help of this list you won't forget anything which could have a detrimental effect on your break.
